Our neighbors' son started an enterprising car wash business to make money for some nerf guns he wanted to purchase.
My husband was reluctant, but I took the car right over. My car was going to be cleaner, I'd be helping a young man's efforts to earn an honest pay and I signed up O & T to assist him for free. What's not to love?
Of course the car came back with streaks we had to dry off, and I was charged extra for additional services I had not requested (or been informed about) like tire scrubbing. But my boys learned a new skill (sort of) and I got to teach them valuable lessons about business dealings. Plus the car is cleaner-ish.
It's still a win in my books.
